Neurofeedback for children
If you are a parent looking for an alternative to medication for your child, consider NeurOptimal® neurofeedback. Consider it if you are looking for an alternative to having your child burdened with a label. NeurOptimal® neurofeedback is a safe alternative with proven efficacy. In November of 2012 the American Academy of Pediatrics approved neurofeedback as a “best support” treatment option for children with ADHD.
This is a delightful, less than two minute video of Samantha Diavatis, NeurOptimal® Director of Operations talking about the safety and effectiveness of training for children. It’s informative and clear, but what makes it delightful is the kids running around her back yard, including her own seven-year old who has had lots of neurofeedback and is clearly a great kid.
One of the satisfactions of being able to offer neurofeedback for children (and adults) is that it provides an option to medication for those who are concerned about side effects or long term consequences. And neurofeedback for children makes for happier kids.
