  • Neurofeedback and Your Unique Brain

bigstock_Face_In_The_Crowd_65749You are a unique human being, even though you are part of a species that you are very much alike. Why is this important to neurofeedback?  More about that in a minute. First, did you know that…

    • The typical adult body has about 50 trillion cells. That’s 50,000,000,000,000 cells.
    • Your genes and mine are 99.99% identical. That means only one-tenth of one percent difference, but as you can tell just by looking around a room of people that tiny percent has a big effect on what makes each of us unique.
    • Your brain has about 100 billion neurons. The number of connections they are capable of making is in the quadrillions (one quadrillion is 1 followed by 15 zeros).  No wonder you are so unique!

What makes this uniqueness important to neurofeedback is what makes Zengar Institute’s NeurOptimal® so special.

bigstock_Glowing_Brain_2547877Rather than pushing the brain in a predetermined direction based on provider chosen protocols as in other systems, your brain will be given feedback that is unique to you. Your CNS (central nervous system – the brain and spinal cord) is masterful at taking in information and using it to organize itself.

What that translates to is things like more focus, waking refreshed, better stress management, more contentment, less squabbling with those you love  – whatever is right for you.
