  • Time in Nature Boosts Vitality

DSC00375While you’re deciding if neurofeedback is right for you, there’s a simple thing you can do to improve your life that is backed up by science.

Research shows that spending more time in nature increases well-being and energy. A series of studies published in the June 2010 issue of the Journal of Environmental Psychology found, among other things, that as little as 20 minutes a day outside in nature boosted vitality levels. This is an older article, but I see newer research validating this study regularly.

You don’t have to be active when you’re outdoors (although exercise carries its own set of benefits, including increasing new neuron generation). All you have to do is be there. And please email me with any questions you have about neurofeedback and how it might benefit you.
