Update: As of June 25, 2020, New York Neurofeedback has reopened.
As of May 28, 2020, like many of you, my husband and I are hunkered down at home. In our case, that’s in our New York City apartment. We’re washing our hands, wearing masks and keeping six feet apart when we go out, all those things that are important to take care of ourselves and to take care of others.
We also decided that we were going to do lots of brain training during this period. It’s been tremendously helpful. We usually train once a week or so, but now we’re training three times a week. We have the time and are thankful that we have one of my systems here at home with us.
How has it helped us? Here are some examples.
Those are a few of the things we’ve noticed. We’ve always had positive results with NeurOptimal®, so this doesn’t come as a surprise, but it certainly is nice. I wish everyone could be training their way through this.
I look forward to reopening New York Neurofeedback when it’s safe for us and our clients. I know that NeurOptimal® is going to be helpful to people with the effects of sheltering in place, the uncertainty regarding our health and the economy’s health, and in moving forward. (Don’t worry. Benefits happen without having to come three times a week.)
I hope that we all take some good things with us from this time. More sense of how connected we all are. More appreciation for the simple pleasures. And I know that NeurOptimal® can help with many of the not so good things that we may take into the future from this time, things that we’d rather leave behind.
Please ask any questions you have, either here on the blog or by email. I’m looking forward to seeing your faces soon.
