  • Neurofeedback and the Olympics

bigstock-BARCELONA-SPAIN--JUNE---A-28234301Neurofeedback is becoming part of the training programs of more and more Olympic athletes. The Wall Street Journal talks about it in this article titled Mental, Physical Training for Olympic volleyball. Neurofeedback and the Olympics – training for them – is becoming more and more commonplace.

It makes sense. Among other ways it can aid performance, neurofeedback improves focus and reduces anxiety. Here in New York City, I regularly hear positive reports from clients who are performers of all kinds, comments like:

    • I went to the audition and I was able to just focus on the work.
    • I actually had fun!
    • It felt like being in the flow rather than just hoping I’d make it to the end without messing up.
    • I could put so much more of myself into the song.
    • And here’s my husband’s experience with softball in Central Park: Neurofeedback and Peak Performance

bigstock-BARCELONA-SPAIN--JULY---Co-28225610It’s very nice being part of this transformative process. If you have questions or comments, please leave them here on the blog, or you’re welcome to email me.
